My first impression of Uli was that of a polite gentleman - small and weak, wearing glasses.</p> <p>However, I was to find he had many good points.<br /> He was deeply into martial arts and had started his intensive training as far back as 1975¹.<br /> Keeping an open mind, he learned many styles from quite a few famous teachers.</p> <p>But ultimately, couldn't express himself fully with all he had learned.</p> <p>In 2004 he came to my school in Los Angeles to learn from me, expanding on his previous knowledge and experiences and to address his weaknesses in wing chun.</p> <p>I'd exposed to him the finer poi</body></html>
